It’s the 21st Annual Victoria Anarchist Bookfair Sept 19-20 in so-called Victoria. To help kick-off the convergence, veteran revolutionary rap collective RHYMETHiNK have deployed the old infantry and founding members LEE REED, CEE.REALITY, and D.LIBERATE to dis-officially ignite the bookfair fuse with some big beats, sharp bars and iLL anarchist analysis; turning anti-capitalist and anti-colonial rap performance into a fiery catharsis for the comrades // ++ the collective is amped to be reconnecting and sharing a stage with their homie, Kwakwa̲ka̲’wakw and Nuu-chah-nulth artist PINDN, who’s built a bridge from modern-day rap and MC’ing to his traditional indigenous roots, moving crowds with his storytelling and healing journey // Comrades! Spread words! Mar calendars! Rally the troops! Gather the homies! Let’s get this Bookfair dis-officially kiCKD OFF.
